TCP Entry 34 Final: Page 3

You know, this is something I found rather unnerving on later reads of Tortall-based books: the interference with mortals by the gods and goddesses. There's some things they clearly have a lot of influence over, and other things that get too far and they feel they need mortals to be their champions. But then there are things like magical Gift, Sight, and the Immortals that just seem to be beyond those deities' control entirely. I wonder what the Tortall-universe Gods and Goddesses are really limited by?
